DESCRIPTION:The German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) Heidelberg offers thre
 e courses in the field of particle therapy this year again. The courses are
  organized under the auspices of the Heidelberg Institute of Radiation Onco
 logy (HIRO) in close cooperation with the Heidelberg Ion-Beam Therapy Cente
 r (HIT) as well as the University Hospital Heidelberg. The Online Teaching 
 Course Particle Therapy (course type 3) is designed for national and intern
 ational scientists\, physicians\, medical physics experts or physicist as w
 ell as BSc\, MSc or PhD students who would like to get a deeper understandi
 ng of the physics of particle therapy and its clinical application. This co
 urse comprises of 37 English-speaking teaching units. Teaching language is
